    Hi,
Just got the truck back from the dealership, they took 1.5 months to replace the frame. They installed new brake lines and control arms (upper and lower). Rides like a dream. I've been using my tundra more and more so trying to decide whether I should start modding it out (lift etc) or if i should sell it. The tundra is more than enough for me, don't really need 2. With family, I need a double cab...But I love this truck!!! It's never given me problems and I just love the simplicity and reliability. With a new frame it seems like it's not going to go anywhere in the next 50 years.....But with high used prices, maybe I'll get a great price? Can't decide... What do you guys think?

From your paragraph it sounds like it is not very practical for you and your family. As far as lifting it goes I don't think there is a ton of potential there for it being a 5lug. With used prices how they are right now I would sell it. Depending on lots of factors like mileage, condition, location, etc. you could do pretty good with selling it. However, if its sentimental there is very few things that can make you sell it! If had to decide I would sell it.

Thank you for the reply. My tundra is lifted, and that's a reason why I 've always been hesitant to change stock on this. It's just so smooth stock. Its senti, but idk...How much do you think it'll go for? In great condition, 224k miles.

That's a lot of miles, no matter what make. A new frame will help price but not as many are out there for a 5lug even though they are kinda neat. I figure you could probably get close to 10k. See what the KBB is on it and go from there. Never a terrible idea to hang onto it for a back up.

Not sure how much 5lugs go for so you would have to see. You are the only one that can do the KBB because only you know the options and such. A big factor is your location as well. I live in the rust belt so a truck with a brand new frame would increase price alot. I don't want to give you false hope
