The pictures show it raw but it’s kind of powder coated now but I need to drop it off to officially get it done. If you’re down for a bumper let me know maybe he can work a quote up for you.

I’ve had them 24 hours with no off-road but the 50ish miles on them so far feel great. E load counters the soft OR suspension and makes it feel more lively. I’ll be pulling a heavy trailer later this week and look forward to seeing how that feels. The stock tires made the truck feel like a 70s boat. Nice off-road but too squishy on road.

I got the Miller Cat shield. I have a Pro with the skid plate. I was able to install the shield while keeping the skid plate on. I did have to use tape to hold parts in place as at least one step was blind (by feel only)

I put some Wolfpack Pro boxes on the prinsu. What do you think about 'em?

The plano is semi-permanently mounted to the rack. I wanted to try a storage system that let me remove the boxes, when I don't need them. Wolfpacks + mounts seem to be the cheap & easy way to do that.

I've always liked the look the general grabbers, just have no experience with them. Gotta be better than the Firestone destinations highway tires that came on mine

Yeah they look great. 245/75R16 looks “correct” on a Tacoma I think. They are slightly narrower than stock but effectively the same diameter. The first gens look great with full on pizza cutters but this size suits the third gen perfectly.

Oh dang that’s a good idea. I have them wedged in there really hard. Electrical tape or something else?

they aren’t slotted, they are more like…seriously wedged In there so hard it bends the metal plate out (on purpose) as to become completely immobile.

the hardware is: 7/16 x 1” carriage bolt with the head inside the rail. Washer against the rail, nylon washer touching the plate to prevent movement and sound, then plate, another washer and a spiral locking nut on the outside.

the quick fist has a machine screw with two washers and a sprocket locking nut.

Busy day today, TONS of lighting mods:

1.MESO customs puddle pods (took forever)

    2.Morimoto taillights

    3.Bed step

    4.VLEDS interior footwell lights

    5.Cali Raised hidden light bar

6.OEM passanger side floor mat anchors (oddly more time consuming than I imagined at 30 min)

    7.New floor mats

Truck has a whole new feel which is always cool. Time will tell how much I like all these mods long-term. Had a lot of fun putting it all together:bananadead:

I agree that around 40% of Coloradoans don't follow the rules of the road and get over. However, 90% of tourists to the state have absolutely NO clue! It gets even worse offroad!!

This should be a universal rule in the US. I know first hand that you will be ticketed in RI/CT should you not yield the left lane.

Yes, Installed mine with know problem thanks to the advice of TW members. Left the driver's side wing off until I attached the front screws, then attached the wing.
