It’s ok. If you already have an M12 charger then there is also a bare tool plus m12 2.0Ah battery deal for a little less.

I really like my Surge impact probably my first grab tool 99% of the time just works really smoothly and is great for woodworking or metal working. All that said $199 for the tool and (2) 2.0Ah batteries is reasonable, but if you’re looking you can find slightly better or packaged deals with more tools at a better value.

Thanks for the info. I don’t have the battery charger so I would be looking at going all Milwaukee after this purchase

I'd wait for a buy one get one deal either online or in-store.

As for chargers, you'll end up with too many real quick. Hell if you were local, I'd give you a new or never used one as I have maybe 2-3 backups.

Ok, I’ll hold off then. For some reason in Florida everyone I worked with was a fan of ryobi so we had a ton of ryobi (pool cage aluminum gutter work) but I never cared for it too much. I have some ransoms here and there of different brands but been looking for the one to switch to completely and I think it’s going to be Milwaukee

Well I had a good run. My very first battery failure. M18 8.0, it's one of my newest batteries too, only 1.5 yrs old. I switched to MW from Dewalt in 2015 & all my other batteries have been working fine, even my 9.0 & a fake M12 6.0.

First time warrantying anything from MW too. They make it so easy though, all packed up & ready to ship out tomorrow.

Not me.... as in "don't want". Was using mine all morning today, that's how I found out my 8.0 batt took a shit. Used it a lot last week too, that's more use it's had then all of last year.

I was never interested in buying one, got it for Christmas a while back. Thing has been pretty handy, I never would have thought. Glad my brother got it for me.

I think these are better deals, for M12 FUEL starter tools (although these are not the M12 SURGE impacts). If you want to get into M18 then this surge is a great price! Shoot the ratchet set you even get a third battery 2.0Ah for "free" when you combo it.

Right now, you can get a Fuel grinder for what...$113?

They had an even better deal recently but as soon as I clicked Check Out it was OOS.

The deal I'm referring to is the buy a tool, get a battery free for $200. Return the battery for the adjusted refunded of $80 something bucks.

Not to be confused with the exact grinder and 5AH battery combo for the same price, which you can't return the battery because it's in the same package.

Edit: Disregard I saw you want the stubby not the grinder. I could always use another one :anonymous:
