We didn't have any girls in our shop class but there were a couple of guys who had really long hair, like rock stars :rockband:

They were the ones who always wore the Metallica, AC/DC, and Megadeath T-shirts :rimshot:

I wanted to wear my Bassmaster shirt but mom wouldn't let me.

I went to Lowe's the other day and a guy and gal were walking in front of me and he had the PERFECT mullet. Another guy was exiting the store and was as bald as I am, he points and yell's "NICE MULLET, I JUST GAVE MY KID ONE" while rubbing his bald head. The guy with the mullet didn't say a word :rofl::rofl:

A friend plays in a band and for years (after it was popular) kept the long hair.

He was walking into W-M one day and glances up at the monitor that shows the doors and thinks "look at that silly bald guy with the long hair in the back -- ha, ha"...

So he looks around to get a visual on this silly bald guy -- and realizes -- "It's me!" :pout:

He went to the barber that same day.

Corporate here decided we should wear our access badges in either neck worn lanyards or retractable things on our belts, so that people who have been working from home will easily be able to identify/ meet people who have been working on site for the last few years. I refused, as did everyone else in the department. That’s just asking for a whole series of problems if you don’t work in an office.

On a jobsite once, I saw a very stupid FNG tap on the back of a cement mixer with his gloved hand to "Get the sand unstuck off the back". He lost, on his left hand, his whole pinky, 2 knuckles of his ring finger, and 1 knuckle each of his middle and pointer fingers. I'll never forget the sight of him jumping around, then running around while screaming and holding his hand.

Nope. I went into engineering to solve problems and design cool things. I spend more time as a collections agent for jobs than anything engineering related.

That stuff is self leveling so just slap it on. I did a whole S-10 with it and used a roller for the open places and brushes for the tight spots. First, I hit the whole thing with a green scotch brite pad and wiped it with a dry rag. It was pretty tough. The only thing it doesn’t stick well to is chrome. It does stick but chips easily.

Cool, thanks for the info. I may get the kids to help me scotch brite it and let it ride. I'm not don't plan on entering it in the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance :anonymous:

Well, that was a new experience...

Motoring along on a secondary road about 55 and a turkey launches out of the underbrush just a few feet in front of me.:eek:

    I simultaneously did four things:
    Brake
    Avoid
    Horn
    Swear with gusto....

For once the barn like aerodynamics of the Tacoma worked for the good, at the last second the bird seemed to be pushed away from the windshield on the passenger side.

I saw the bird kind of whirling in mid air out the passenger window and heard the feathers brush the A pillar/roof.

There was a dump truck behind me, he dodged the whirling bird too.
