So I have a set of General Grabbers AT2 tires, and I prefer to have the white lettering facing out. I used to use Westleys Blech-Wite for the tires when the original factory wheels were on. I recently purchased TRD Pro gloss black rims, and Im concerned about Westleys damaging the finish. Is there something else I can use to clean the tires and get the white lettering clean, that is also safe for the wheels?

I would assume you should be alright as long as you wash it off quickly. However I think a good quality wheel and tire cleaner should work fo white lettering as well.

I used to be a huge fan of Westleys Blech-Wite, but the formulation has changed over the past couple of years and it's not as good as it was IMO. I use P&S Break Buster (diluted to 1:4) to clean my wheel and tires. As long as the cleaner you decide to use is not an acid based cleaner you should be fine.

When White walls were the rage. SOS pads did one hell of a job on them.

You take some light sand paper and it will bring the white back to your white letters

I tried using SOS pads and it got the lettering nice and clean, bright white again.
