Not selling here, just asking advice. I have a 2002 Tacoma 5spd manual with 93k miles. Engine is good, the frame is done in from rust. Exhaust and tires are shot, which is what I was starting to fix before I discovered the frame rot.
My question is: I’m considering selling it to a local car enthusiast for parts and I have no idea what a fair price would be. He seams interested and owns his own garage. I know that the labor of salvaging parts is considerable and is probably the bulk of the cost of buying salvaged parts when you look on the markets. Engine runs great and before the rust the truck never gave me any problems. Everything works, heat, AC, electrical etc. best guess with that info? Happy to post a few pics if that’s helpful.

    2000 Tacoma 5 speed 3.4
Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    4x4 or 5 lug 2wd?/ 3.4 or 4 cylinder??

I can say I bought my Tacoma ( 4x4 manual 3.4) for $500.00 when I went to look at the tires and wheels.

The frame needs a little attention I have been using it to make local grocery runs.

How does a Truck that old have such low mileage??

RE mileage: Used for local dump/lumber runs and little else. Only other owner did the same, family friend.

    it’s 2WD 5lug 4 cylinder

While I did drive it home from my mechanic after the bad news, I don’t think it’s really safe with the frame. Kinda bummed that a new frame isn’t financially viable. Loved this thing it built my house with me.
