Hi folks, I'm picking the accessories I want the dealer to add to my SR5 when it arrives. Do I want to pay the dealer $350 for the security system/breakage sensor? Is it a good system and will it make it less likely that my truck gets smashed into?

Similar vein, I am looking at the safe that goes in the console - is there a better aftermarket option?

I would just put alarm stickers on your front side windows and be done with it. $2 vs $350

I'm of the thought that the best way to avoid break-ins is to not store anything inside the vehicle.

There second best method is to not have any of your stored things visible when looking inside the vehicle.

I never saw value in the break sensor. Because by the time the horn sounds the average thief knows that they can grab and go well before anyone can reach them.
