Interior dome light issue-2018

Had to replace interior rear bulb, not working. Had truck on not sure what happened when changing it out with replacement, but blew the fuse . 7.5. Replaced fuse, and new rear interior bulb. Everything working now. But when I place the front dome light switch to door the lights stay on now even the rear. Tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then trying but no luck
Any thoughts?

 

You do know that you can push the light with your hand to turn it on and off manually, right?

 

Lol yes but trying to figure out why the lights won’t come on automatically when the doors open and shut off when closed

 

You may have fried something on the PCB inside when you shorted it out and blew the fuse. There are a few threads discussing it on here if you do a search.
