    Hello all!

Just picked up a new double Tacoma SR5 today. I have always wanted one of these but have never had a chance to pick one up. Just got it tonight but already love the way this thing drives. Been a jeep fan for many years but now understand why people like these things so much.

Excited to learn a lot on here.

    From dealer lot.

Congrats! Nice ride. @Captqc is right. Reading this forum will make you need things for your new truck you never knew existed.

Haha, thanks everyone. Yeah, I can already see the list growing.

On a side note, can anyone tell me if there’s a way to make it unlock all the doors with one press of the unlock on the remote? Or is that not possible. I see you can by double tapping, just curious if there’s a feature to do all the doors at one with one press of the remote.

Take a look in the settings in the head unit. You can set the locking and unlocking preferences there.

Yeah, I saw a few settings in there. I believe it’s the remote 2-unlock maybe? I’ll keep messing with it.

edit: Yep, that’s the one. Thanks!

SR5 is a good trim - everything you need nothing you don't.

    Welcome!!!

Like some else stated, SR5 have everything you want without overpaying for extras you’ll probably never use.

    Well done,
Yes, I know mods are on the list. and some are needed.
Build it to suit your needs and not to impress everyone else and you will never look back.

Maintain it to high standards and not "general recommendations" and you will have smiles for miles!
    Welcome to TW

One free mod you can do is take off the air dam on the front. Will give the truck a higher, more aggressive look. Some people say you lose 1 MPG or so but I didn't find that to be the case on mine. Really just personal preference.

Drive your truck stock for a while. The things you want/need will become clear after you use it for a while. Oh, and good color choice if I didn't say so earlier :)

Thanks for the tip. May actually take you up on the free mod. I’ll give it some time and enjoy it before going crazy. Right now I am just enjoying driving it around.
