So I've been trying to find a bed cover that I can use with my CBI rack. I saw some people went with the Truxedo lo-pro and did some unspecified "modifications" to it so I went ahead and ordered that.

Here's what I've got so far...

    1. Drilled 3 new holes for the mounting brackets so it lines up with the available holes on the CBI rack (an example of the new holes can be seen next to the stock hole on the right and on the far left in pic #2).

    2. Removed the rear anchor for my rack and used this wooden dowel to slide the tonneau anchors into place (pic#1).

    3. Tried to mount the thing.

It looks like you just need some longer bolts (and maybe a little spacer?) to hold the brackets far enough away from the bed rack so the Truxedo seal can sit flush to the steel behind the mounting brackets (pic#3).

It doesn't look like it will be necessary to cut or trim the Tonneau.

I will update with more info and pics after I get some longer hardware. If anyone has any experience with this (I know you're out there) and have any tips or know if I'm on the right track or not, please let me know.

How did everything work out for you with this modification?
