So my 2019 Tacoma needs new tires and I've been wanting to put a 2" or 3" leveling kits on it and was thinking of going to
285/70/17 on my stock rims. I was hoping for some opinions and possibly pictures if you have it And will that tire fit where the spare tire is thanks ☺️

Your sport wheels don’t have enough offset to fit 285 wide tires. They are around +22 or something like that. You want wheels with an offset of 0 or -10 if you want to run wider tires. With your stock wheels you will hit your upper control arm , possibly the coils on your shocks with a 285.
265 70 17 is the biggest you can go for width on stock sport wheels, even if you have a lift.

Sure, lots run spacers, you’ll want hub centric ones. 33s aren’t big tires, if you want to get them go for it. If something rubs, cut it out. A good wheel alignment, an hour at an off-road shop getting the cmc done and you’ll be good to go for the most part.
