Straighten/strengthen would probably end up as basically a back half but with all the pivots and mounting points for the bed and shocks already set vs trying to replicate what’s there from scratch. Got quoted $500 under the table to straighten the frame so that won’t be happening

That's true, but this thing is screaming for some trailing arms. The back half is just a good excuse to go down that road. ;)

Oh I know it and if it weren’t for the cost of the coil overs or lead times I’d be quite tempted. But this spring geometry is working great and pairs well with the front.

Well I took about 40 measurements to make sure all the important stuff locates back where it used to. Time to drop the tank and chop at the back of the cab.

should probably call to get materials on order as well.

If the cab cage was tied in to the bed cage then it probably wouldn’t have bent like it did. Should have done that when doing the cab cage

It’s a start. Frame under the cab boxed in and new legs started.

Updates. Frame is in place, tied into the cab cage, and slowly making progress. Hopefully gonna get the cab sealed back up this weekend and start working on the new shackles and pivot points.

Frame plating anyone? That’s gonna be a lot of welding.

Also got the cab sealed back up tonight.

Just wanted to say, your truck is truly awesome. My friend who's not on the forums sent me an instagram post of you barreling over some whoops and I was like "I know that guy!"

Also 500whp or whatever you said is awesome lol!!! ;)

Haha thanks. I need to find some motivation here to get it built back up and running again. It certainly feels like 500whp lol. Has all the ambiance of it with the noise and vibrations lol

Progress. Bedsides mounted along with chase lights and jack. Gave them a bit of a dovetail to make the bodywork a bit narrower in the rear since I opted out of bobbing the bed. Took about 10” off the overall width at the tail lights
