Same thing happened to me on my brand new loaded out BMW adventure bike. Girl was tailgating her mom. Mom ran pulled across the intersection in front of me and totaled the bike… I almost had my leg cut off, but was able to get my leg onto the top of the seat before the grill of that Tahoe smashed into the side of me.

No way in hell should as many people be given drivers licenses. We need a better transit system for those that just don’t have what it takes.

 

This is number 6 in 2 years, my neighbor struggles to drive in LA.

 

The girl that hit me was 16. Late for work at the movie theater. In her parents car so at least she had insurance. My 83 year old mom was with me and it broke her knee. I just had bumps and scrapes. The air bags beat the hell out of us but probably saved our lives.

 

I am sorry your mom and you had to go through that.

Glad you and ma are rocking. I have been in many an accident living in ATL for years, half of which I commuted on a motorcycle.
I did remember when traffic changed from fucking shitty to, oh I am gonna straight run over your ass. That’s when I started driving the 4runner to work.

The complete disregard for peoples lives is crazy. I think the punishment for driving your car and using it like a weapon should be wayyyy more stiff.
The chances of being shot at in Atlanta, is very good these days on account of road raging.
