Hey folks - I finally have a TRD PRO on the way in two weeks. Paid way too much but, somehow, was able to find more TRD PRO inventory than TRD ORPs so I just went for it.

I’ve never driven the 22 PRO. Anyone have any experience with it? How’s the higher lift handle compared to the 2021? Mileage with the higher lift? Is the new UCA all that or just bling?

Drove both when I found my '21, would have gotten pro but it was black and I really wanted cement...difference is negligible, at least on a short freeway test drive

It’s the most minimally viable lift. You won’t really notice it. If you actually wheel, you’ll be looking to replace it. If you don’t wheel and just hit the occasional fire road or whatever you’ll appreciate it.

I’m in between wheeling and fire roads. It’s more rough back country roads / trails with elevation changes that push a TRD OR to the brink. I think the 1.5” will be perfect for me. The angles are great on the 22 PRO.

Congrats I actually like the color and I'm sure the fox shocks are probably better than the toothpick bilsteins that the trdor models get

Thanks bro. Could be wishful thinking but I think electric lime will slowly grow on people and will become more popular. I will say, a dealer called me today with a black PRO priced higher than mine and it looked sick AF.

In passing my local dealership I noticed a few Pro's on their used car lot. The "electric lime" green caught my eye so I stopped to check it out. Very nice but the sticker shock about sent me into cardiac arrest.

I just walked through my local dealer's lot ... I hardly ever see TRD ORs there. It's usually SR, followed by Sport and Limited.

Well, that’s what they’re selling for. Upper 50s / lower 60s. The best you can find is just over 50 if you get on a long, rare waiting list of a dealer that doesn’t do a mark up.

just noticing it’s used!! Lol. That is too much. Should be mid 50s at most

No because that doesn’t exist on lots either and even if it did you’d be buying a full-size unoptioned and no tow package, a wasted full-size.

I wonder what a '22 Pro will appraise at in ten years?
I can find plenty of full size trucks for under 60k on the lot. Most of them are 3/4 ton work trucks gas single cabs, but not all of them are, that's including the mark up.

They are the worst, literally offered me the lowest for my trade and then all their stuff is overpriced, they have a lunar rock tundra I wish I could afford, but its $10k marked up from original MSRP.

I passed on a 16 day out SW PRO allocation, only had $1.9k markup, after the random port bs it was about $51k, just couldnt do super white.

51K is stupid cheap for a PRO right now. I mean, MSRP + delivery should be higher than that with zero distributor add ons. I’d have bought it in a second.

MSRP for auto trans is $49,290 and delivery in my area is $1,395, so $50,685 before a single option (rails, ball mount) or dealer nonsense (tint, “nitrogen” etc) or market adjustment is included. $51K is truly a steal and no idea how they arrive at that with an almost $2K market adjustment. I’d have flipped it even if I didn’t like the color. Send me that dealer’s info!

50.5k is msrp for a Pro. Nobody should pay more than that for a Pro with no adds.

In my area very few dealers are letting PROs go at MSRP. It is what it is. The TRD OR premium sells for $50K here all day long and stays on the lot for about 3 hours if not pre-sold. To get a PRO for $50.5K you need to be on a waiting list for 1-2 years at one of the few dealers that doesn’t do a mark up. To get it faster you pay $5k-$10k more. It’s just the market. You can choose time or money but it’s not feasible to have both in my market area. I’ve called out of state and it varies and most not willing to title to out of staters. I paid a mark up and for a variety of overpriced but useful add ons (tint, ball mount, tailgate lock, cat guard, trail rails, etc). Not ideal but I wanted it.

That was before the $1995 adjustment. So $53k I have the deal sheet saved, use it to call bs on others while I’ve been shopping. Lol. It was Team One in AL but it’s long gone my friend. Only allocations left in AL not spoken for are Sports. Trust I’ve shopped them all.
