I need help with the radio speakers. I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma that I bought about 4 months ago. It’s supposed to have 6 speakers in it. Well it only has 4. It’s missing the tweeters. Out of 6 speakers I only have the back 2 door speakers that work. My question is on the front doors will the tweeters missing cause the 6 by 9’s not to work ? It’s a factory radio as well. Don’t know if Toyota had a Circuit deal or not. When the whole system isn’t together it doesn’t work but I would appreciate any help that you can give. Thanks in advance.

Yes, that is causing your front doors not to work

see the little grey plug, about halfway towards the white plug on the top right

there should be 4 wires. 2 of each color
Splice the matching colors, and you’ll have signal to your front doors again

also keep in mind, those speakers are 15 years old so the voice coils may be rusted by now if they haven’t worked in a while

Thank you very much. Kinda what I figured but in all honesty I didn’t have a clue if the Toyota’s was set up that way or not. I too used to Chevy. Lol Thank you and much appreciated. I really appreciate the help

Tons of people on here do upgrades in there 2nd gens. If you made a looking for stock tweeters thread someone would probably send you there old ones for cost of shipping.
