Noticed a large wet spot on the driveway behind the right front door and spotted a drop hanging on the end of the AC drain when I returned from Bend, OR via Kennewick last week so I picked up 3' of 5/8 Gates heater hose and 3/8-7/8 SS hose clamps. Accomplished the AC Drain extension mod this afternoon with exactly 24" of hose used, zip tied to a bracket on the inner fender. Thanks to the Gen3 forum threads: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rust-on-frame-with-a-c-drain-mod-fix.444138/ The basis is Post #39 in Slow Moe's 2016 SR 4 Banger 4x4 5 Speed Access Cab Build & BS Thread (a Discussion in 3rd Gen Builds).

Been doing some projects to the truck. I’ve had the front skid plate off for a while with these screws setting it. It’s a long short but anybody know where they go??? Been driving it, so I know they are not that important

I put the first set of bridgestone deulers on my '90 4runner back in 2000 and been running them on my taco since 2014. Last set got me nearly 65k. Wears good IMO and great on the FSRs and in rain. Confidence is moderate in the snow, but I run dedicated snow tires now so that's not an issue for me.

If it's the stock skid plate, it hooks on the front with two machine screws securing the back into the two steel braces. I put the hardware removed with the two steel braces and skid plate in the box that I emptied of the powder coated aluminum front IFS skid plate (~22 lbs. same weight, more coverage). (From Wheelers, or Trail Gear, or All Pro Off-Road)

Not sure if it's the same part number as an 08, but this is the one I bought off Amazon for the passenger side and it fit perfectly.
Part number 65671-04050 Side Panel Skirt Brace

Looks like a couple of the others have you pointed in the right direction on the P/N (65671-04050 for passenger side) for the bed panel brace, but I'll just add to be careful when removing those two rusty bolts that secure it to the bed. Hate to turn a simple job into a headache from snapped bolts in a limited non-ideal space like that. I'd soak them multiple times (days/weeks) in advance with your favorite rust penetrant.

My passenger was a week behind, but still not bad. Wasn't that concerned about the passenger side anyway.

So, if I'm remembering right, my total timeline was: Order on tuesday, received drivers side the same friday and passenger side a week after that friday. YMMV on the shipping, but have no fear on the item itself...if you order it, whenever you get it, it works great, very easy install.

It is a cool feature to have, for sure.

Yeah, definitely soak them for four or five days. Mine were seriously rusted solid.

‘Drilled a hole (1.125”) through the firewall. Filed, sanded, primed and painted the hole edges. Running dedicated power and ground for the SW.

The step bit worked great on sheet metal.
