E-Locker swap

Not sure if this has been brought up before? I have a 99 Taco 4x4 V6 5speed with the elocker and a 97 4Runner 4x4 V6 5speed without the locker. My taco has over 300k and I will probably be putting it up for sale sooner or later. My question is whether I can swap the rear differentials so that I can bring the locker over to the 4Runner as I will be keeping it and it has half the miles. I appreciate any advice, thanks ahead of time.

So you're going to f#ck the next owner of the tacoma because you're too cheap to buy an elock third for the 4r?

Have fun putting a nonelock third into an elock housing
