If boots are that far along, I'd pony up and buy some new ends.....

How much are you paying "out-the-door" for those tires and do you do much off-roading in Canyonlands? Just asking, because I need to replace my Michelin LTX A/T2 tires and I understand that they are no longer being made. And the price, if they were being made, would be $250 each, plus tax and mounting...

No I dont do much off roading and the Michelin Defenders not a very aggressive tire the size I am getting with the discounts from tire outfitters is like 670$ I dont think they would make good off road tires but others may know better than me. This is my daily driver

Oh.....yeah there is no way I am gonna fix those that way I ordered new ones for sure. I just have to drive these with torn boots for like 5 days and I am replacing them as soon as my tires come in on Wed. That method MAY work but I never put bandaids on something that needs stitches lol

Back in the day it was the go to aftermarket part, not any more in my books, I seen some pics of new ones with the boot lifted up and it was solid rust,, this was ball joints.

Its just like anything these days...nothing is made with quality. There are a handful of good companies left out there but with the age of my truck they are far an few between. I cant honestly name a company right now that I can say I 100% trust quality stuff from on keeping your truck factory.
