That would be my guess. Let us know if you find out anything more useful.

When crawling under your Tacoma, 4Runner or Landcruiser wear safety goggles. Sure am glad I did. There's has to be as much sand under as I took off yesterday.
    Transfer case skid removed.
I see what happened now. Because the mounting holes are slotted the skid moved back after the second hit. And yes all 5 mounting bolts were tight.

Everything back together. Now to Fleet Farm to clog the car wash drains.

I'm planning to try that too!

Here's the aftermath of round one at the car wash. Headed back to round two shortly. Underbody tonight!

Someone should make an off-road car wash. Can be a whole bunch of sprinklers or a concrete pool that’s a couple feet deep for people to drive through and it filters out all the gunk so it’s always cleanish water

I think pressure washers might work better than sprinklers. Maybe pre-wet with the sprinklers to get the bulk of the grit off then 800psi pressure washers to super clean it!

There used to be automatic car washes with under carriage blasters when you drove in but I haven’t seen any of them around for a long time

Like the wash rack we used to run the equipment through in the Military. Tracked vehicals were the worst. Getting underneeth to clean out road wheels packed full of mud and clay. Fun times..... Not!

Maybe that is where my hate for mud came from.

Even with doing the pressure washer yesterday and the car wash with underside wash the truck still has sand spots. Damn black paint.
Went into Fleet Farm to get a new air filter and ended up spending $220.00

Coming home from FF a guy in a 4Runner was taking pictures of me.
First thought was that the woman in Crivitz is tracking us down.

    You know she was!
Hell, on my way home for lunch, I went past a beach driving the speed limit and some harpy bitch whipped out her phone and was filming me because she thought I was going too fast. Sigh.

Karen's are everywhere and they are all connected to each other. Anyone can turn into a Karen at anytime.

Maybe we really are in the Matrix and Karen's are the agents.

Like the underbody flush at the gas station wash, but with a fire-hose.

@WiscoPat mentioned using the sprinkler to get the loose stuff off, then getting the rest with a hose or pressure washer. Seems like a good plan.

Most of the ones here have them. They're just not nearly intense enough for my needs.

Where can I find one of these? Asking for a friend.

Lol! They're going to track us all down and slash our tires.

That would help explain the relationship @McSpazatron has with his trimmer and blower.
