Just added the 4X innovations High Clearance rear bumper with duel swing-outs. Prepping the swing-outs next. Prepping everything for color-matched paint was the biggest PITA. Thank you Adam, for weathering my phone calls.

Were you able to remove yours w/o them snapping? I've been meaning to remove my braces to repaint them (or replace if needed) as they're a bit rusty as well, so just curious how you fared on yours.

Any Mods? One. Maybe two, tops...

I’m trying to find the time to get around and get it done. @caribe makaira has been huge help as usual, thanks George!

On P9 harness connector there are 18 “spots”, 12 of those “spots” have wires (pins) in them.

Out of the 12 pins going into P9, only 5 match identically between a 05-11 and a 12-15.

The remaining 7 wires have to be DE-PINNED and RE-PINNED at the 12-15 configuration location…

Once I get some time to get it done, I’ll report back. It sounds much worse that what it actually is, I just need to find the TIME to do it:thumbsup:

*** Also, planning on re-configuring and getting the whole passenger front door updated as well. Both front doors will have 12-15 master switches, for door locks and windows, and trim plates…

This has been a huge pet-peeve of mine since I bought the Taco in 05. Definitely cheaper than buying a new truck:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

When you find out, let me know. Mine does it as I'm turning right and about to back into my parking space.

If a taco could pull a 30 some odd foot travel trailer, there would be no need for other trucks!!

(Don’t get me wrong I shed a tear or two when I realized I might have to give my beloved truck up)

    Just some stuff...
I did get them off, but had to use a nut remover. One of those socket type of things that bites into the nut. I rounded the corners of the nuts because they were in such bad shape.
This is what I wound up using: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07W91Y3LQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
They were in pretty bad shape. The only one that came off with a socket was the single one near the fender lip.

Such a good truck. Love the fords. But they pricey and big.

lol when I told my dad I bought a truck and eventually showed up at their house, he laughed at me. “Why is it so small?”

I got a 2015 dcsb. I park in downtown garage, and don’t really haul much. Just my bike and doggies. Lol it’s enough for me.

but f250 is just a amazing truck. So much power, so much room.

I have owned around a dozen F150 trucks. Only had 1 F250 and it was gas powered. Had many Fords in my life. To me Fords have always been great trucks. Now new, and newer used, Ford trucks are just ridiculously overpriced. My last new one was a 2014 F150 with a MSRP of $37k which I bought for $27.7k. Bought it because we were looking at campers. Shortly after buying my youngest decided to go to college. Killed my camper budget. I also still owned a 2008 Taco. Loved the Ford but the 5.0 V8 with a 373 LS tow gear was just horrible for mpg. 13.5 city and up to 16 highway. After 14 months I sold the Ford with 9,990 miles on it because I ended up driving the Taco all the time. If Ford still made the 7.3 diesel I would probably have bought an F250 in 2014. Family hasn't had good luck with any of the diesels made since the 7.3.
