    Hey everybody,
I’m trying to build a bit of a sleeper long travel truck. Right now my truck is sitting on Bilstein 5100 but would like to run Total Chaos long travel up front with Kings all around soon. In the rear is where I’m having my issues, I have a decked system under a snugtop shell that I installed recently and I love it, but it’s starting to impede on my plans for a true long travel build. I ideally want to run a bed cage with 16” shocks. I’ve looked into the archive garage shock relocation kits as a secondary option. Has anyone cut up their decked system in order to install a bed cage? It seems like the decked system would still be structurally sound after cutting away the small sections for the cross bracing and shocks, I would also weld some braces to the bed cage to wrap and protect the shocks from damage for when I need to actually use my truck bed. Has anyone tried to or successfully accomplished this? If not does anyone see any problems with this idea? Thank you in advance. :)
