On the Nevada website you can buy straight from the distillery, but they do not ship direct to a handful of states including NC.

I really like Rare Breed. Which you prefer, that or Russell’s SB?

 

If the new commish direct purchased for NC distribution he's my hero.

The Rare Breed edges out the win over the Russells for me, but you can't go wrong with either. By the way, while we're on the subject, they release a non-filtered version outside the US and Id love to track one down one day:

To clarify, the restriction for Smoke Wagon is one that a lot of direct internet-based distributors have for the same group of states. I wonder what one has to do to be approved as a distributor that can ship to NC. Probably pay NC a bunch of money.

 

I wonder if they're worried of running afoul of state controlled distribution.

In any event, was glad to see that Smoke Wagon on the shelf recently. Hope they get some UC/UF next.

Going to Texas in a few weeks for work. Apparently you can have alcohol delivered to you! So like last time I went, I've going to get 2 bottles to bring back in my check in baggage. I've been looking at the local liquor stores and pretty sure I'm going to get 2 different Balcones that I can't get here. I love their whiskey. Or one Balcones and one Eagle Rare. But I feel like Eagle Rare may be a waste here.
