Has anyone attempted to paint, or even seen, textured mirror brackets? Mine have this off-colored texture to them that's driving me nuts. I want to do them body colored, but I feel that if I paint them as is, the texture will just show through and look like ass.

I bought some stuff called 23099985-0C1C-4447-B2EC-2BA1A55A4447.jpg solution finish. Its a dye for trim . I used it on my mirror brackets and some trim and it looked good for honestly almost a year

IF you want to repaint them just use SEM Trim Black. Its the industry standard for redoing black trim

painting them with a proper primer and base coat shouldn't let the texture of the injection molding show through... shouldn't.
