When installing a BBK and not changing the master cylinder you'll have to move more brake fluid to move the caliper pistons the same amount as a stock caliper which means the brake pedals travel will move closer to the floor. The BBK will have better clamping force due to surface area of the brake pad and larger rotor however the added clamping force will not overcome the additional amount of fluid that has to be moved. The result is to stop the truck in the same distance as before the brake pedal will be closer to the floor with a BBK.

Answering your question of "what other 4" spindles are there". EBay has 4" lift spindles, they're made in So Cal, I don't know if they fit 4WD, theyre significantly less expensive than Maxtrac, I doubt you could fit a 16" wheel on any 4" lift knuckle just because of the space available, I've had them on my truck for a couple years now with no complaints but it's still a work truck/mall crawler.

Mine still has the stock rack and things are starting to get sloppy but I haven't had the time to figure out exactly what things yet.

From the sounds of it I guess you just don't know till you get the 37's on. Ok we'll see...

oh and btw looking through your build thread, your the definition of "all in" bro. I don't think I can get to this level so hopefully I'll have better luck with the rack. Knock on wood. lol. you build is inspiring but and your adventures look awesome

Thanks! Definitely how hard you drive it is a big factor. This was yesterday... Smashed a third tail light in the bank haha had to winch up from there.

At what point would you say it’s warranted to upgrade?

I hear the option is a beefier Tundra rack that requires welding to install

Biggest thingbto keeping a rack alive is adding a cooler for it. I went through 5 or 6 racks before I said the hell with them. But adding a cooler definitely prolonged the life of my rack and pump.

This picture is exactly why I shortened my wheel base from long bed. Seemed like every trip I kept getting hung up. I feel your pain.

you can not run any lift spindle with a 4wd.
Camburg makes a replacement spindle however it does not provide any lift, as that is not possible.

the pro comp and fabtech spindles are to be used with a drop bracket lift kit.

Yes... On the control arm. I'll be taking it slow around corners till I can figure it out. Haven't flexed it out to check other rubbing but will at the trail will walk with hammer :)

I know, I have a drop bracket kit. I was looking to see if there was another option vs just replacing with the same spindle. Didn't know if there was a Dirt King, TC, or Camburg level/quality made DB spindle. But I'm going to have my fabricator gusset my new replacements, and we'll see how that goes.
