A body shop is charging for a rear window seal for my 2021 dcab taco. I can't find a separate seal for the rear window. Can anyone confirm if there is a separate seal, or is it built into the rear window as an assembly?

I don't know the answer, but I've never heard of replacement glass coming with a preassembled seal. That would be too easy to damage during shipping, I would think.

Wouldn't the rear window mount the same as the windshield? It would be a glass sealant applied via caulk-gun instead of a preformed gasket, therefore it wouldn't show up on the parts list.

That said, glass sealant is cheap. It's 25 bucks for two tubes on Amazon. Kind of petty for an installer to itemize that instead of tucking it into the labor charge.
