Sluggish Gas Pedal Response

Just bought a used 2020 TRD Off road with the 3.5L V-6. 14K miles. There is a sluggish / hesitation when taking off or pushing on the gas pedal. Is this normal? Is there a decent, inexpensive fix?

 

I believe it is normal. If throttle response is your only complaint, to fix that I bought a Sprint Booster. I have a 4 cyl, auto, it was sluggish. I like the Sprint Booster; I would do it again. It is adjustable and will improve throttle response without having to shove the gas to the floor. It gives a far more enjoyable drive. I've had mine around a year.

 

That's what I figured after reading these forums and some other articles. I did buy something similar to the Sprint Booster so hopefully that will resolve the issue.

 

Ended up with a Pedal Commander. So far I like what it does. A definite difference. We'll see long term.
