Hey guys really need some help. Truck has been running great just drove it yesterday evening and then went to go to work and try to start it and it won’t turn over, all lights come on and seems like it’s not a battery issue but I guess I could be wrong? When I try to start it gets close, electrical comes and then it’s almost like a pop and then the truck thinks its on but no engine. Attaching a video link in a bit. I have to go to work so taking the wife’s highlander. I’ve tried jumping it with no luck and before getting a new battery tomorrow I thought I’d ask you all what I should do. Really don’t want to tow it to dealership…

When you tried to jump it did you put the cables on both batteries for a minute or 2. Maybe just needed a stronger jump. If you have another ride you could always take the battery to auto parts store for testing.

Edit, can you open the caps and check the water level? Not sure if that is possible, vid looks like battery is issue

Sounds like dead battery. Cells shorted and a jump won’t do it.

Sounds just like my starter when it went out on two different occasions. Any deep water recently? Big puddle after a Florida thunderstorm?

Thank you everyone for the quick and helpful replies! I took this advice and removed the batter and took it to oreileys to be tested. As soon as I walked in they said it looks like a bad battery. They tested it and sure enough it was bad. Got a new one and cranked up like new.

    stressed out for no reason…lol
