I know nothing about audio setup. I have factory head unit with small indash amp and Focal door speakers(put in by Crutchfield). sound good but if you fade to the back those tiny headliner speakers(if you want to call them that) suck! i have a pioneer 6x9 in a nice homemade box. Question is if i find the wires to the headliner speakers can i hook that to the box speaker to put between the 2back seats? and would you run wires from both headliners to it?

Why do you want to fade to the back in an AC? What is it you feel you’re missing from the Focal front speakers that you want to put a 6x9 back there?

No, it’s fine, I’m just asking so I know the direction you’re headed.
Are you using the factory deck? Are you using an amplifier? If so, are there channels available?
That’s my preliminary questions, I’ll have more later.:D

You can find the other end of the speaker wires attached to the radio - might be the easiest location to find them.

How many inputs does your Pioneer have? I assume one, so then you don't want to tie 2 radio outputs to one speaker.

Now, if your box has 2 inputs, you are good to go.

thats why i was asking. not sure. factory head unit, with a small indash amp behind it. think its alpine. but Critchfield put it in and set the amp. really not worth tearing into as it sounds good now. Thanks, thinking ill leave it as it is. thanks for the help
