Hello, what do you guys think about this oil for rear differential for a tacoma 2006 2.7 4x2 manual transmission.
Book calls for 75-90, will 75-110 be too much?
    2006 237.000 miles.
Anyone knows the difference between GL4 and GL5? and wich one is used on where? Manual transmission? Differential?
    Thank you in advance

Your not gona hurt anything running a heavier oil in the axles but your fuel economy will suffer especially in cold weather.
Generally GL4 is for transmissions and transfer cases and GL5 is for axles.

In the transmission stick with 75W-90 GL4 Redline MT90 or another gear oil that is formulated for manual transmissions would be my reccomendation.

Why do you want to run that when the OM calls for 75-90??? Just follow the OM and be done with it.
