Does anyone have any working stock tweeters for the front doors that you want to get rid of that would fit a 2007 Toyota Tacoma 4 door double cab ?

Honestly don’t have a clue. Couldn’t honestly tell ya what the difference is between them either. Guess I need to do some more research on what I have or not have.

Look at the grill on the woofer of the front doors, on the door card. There should be a “JBL” badge in the middle. If there is, JBL. No, stock tweeters will do. Sucks cause I threw mine out a month ago. Didn’t need them after 16 years. Sorry.:annoyed:

Mine definitely doesn’t say JBL no where. It’s just plain old plastic. No badges of any kind.

Well I really don’t need a full set I just need the tweeters What would you have to have out of your whole set ? If you don’t want to break up the whole set.

I don’t need them. Take what you need. Figure out pick up / shipping.

Hate to break it to ya, but you’ll need the mounting brackets to get them on the doors too. I checked the other thread, and they’re missing. Don’t think anyone will part with theirs, as you need them for aftermarket tweeters as well.

The stock ones are kinda stuck to the brackets so I don’t know if anyone reuses them but there are a couple places that sell them online. I just got a square foot of 1/4 inch plastic for a couple bucks and made them. Just make a cardboard template then when you get what you want transfer and cut. They don’t have to be perfect or pretty they just need to hold the tweeter nice and tight and have the screw holes in the right spot. Not exactly rocket science. This is the basic shape you want. For the metal part of the bracket the mounts it to the door you can also order. They are like 15 bucks but then you will have them for any other tweeter you might want to mount.

I'd have to look but I know I did not reuse my brackets when I swapped tweeters

Tweeter is 2 10mm bolts holding it to the bracket. There’s nothing to mount the tweeter to without it. Part posted above is exactly what’s needed.

you can always try some local pick-a-part salvage yard near you as well. entirely hit or miss, but they generally sell that stuff for a few bucks each.
