Figured this would be a good Friday thread but also I want to get some so, win/win?

Okay, looking for some color matching shackles, I've been able to find the brighter blue that would match with Voodoo or BBP but nothing for the best blue. Has anyone found anything like this?

Get the color number for Toyota's paint and then buy a spray can of it on Amazon - get a can of clear coat, too, otherwise it will rub off quickly. I did this for my AG Tacoma.

My truck is Cav Blue (obviously this is the best blue). I've found a lot of shackles that will work with Voodoo and BBP (the brighter blues), looks like I might go the custom route for best blue though.

Obviously you are wrong. And a very mis-guided soul. None the less, we will help you find your color matched nipple rings!

    I can't believe this is a thing.

I bought green shackles because of their strength and quality. I also never have them on my truck unless I need them.

I also don't get the need for new trucks to have painted tow points.

    I'm officially old.

I have places for shackles on my bumper, but i don't leave them in. At the very least they're easy to steal, at worst you're handing someone a tool that could be used to break into the truck.

Plus they have a nasty habit of the pin backing out over time unless you safety wire / zip tie them, meaning you now have a piece of shrapnel hurtling down the highway.

Where I live and work that won't happen. I know a lot of people say that, but in my case it's actually true. A lot of my neighbors don't even lock their doors (has been a laughing point at some fires) and on any given night when I do my walks with my dogs 1 out of 3 garage doors are open.

Fair enough. I tend to park at boat ramps where people unhook boat trailers, jam the couplers, and then set them back down on the ball for people to figure out when they're driving down the road.. People are assholes, so I try not to give them too much to work with.

I even lock up my rubber boots
