I put new LED Yellow Fog lights in the truck today. They work great and should help greatly this winter.

    BUT

I noticed on passenger side when i was adjusting wiring harness. I wiggled the connector and the led light would dim and occasionally go off. I drove around and it looks like it stays on when driving but i'd rather not find out it doesn't in the middle of a winter storm driving home. I'm pretty sure its the OEM plug thats the issue. Just thinking swapping the whole harness might be the best idea and i can buy one online. Looks fairly straightforward plug and play swap but anyoen got any experience doing this can fill me in on Difficulty?

Found this picture on another forum.. looks straight forward. I think

Just for shits and giggles i went out and removed the grille to see if i could trace the wiring.

unplug, remove 2 side pieces of trim held on with 1 body clip each, disconnect the harness clips and voila. I thought it was going to be a lot harder. Its like a 20 minute jobn.. 30 minutes with a beer or 2 included .. now if the price of the OEM harness wasnt so stupid.. damn these companies know where to make their money dont they.

I don't know the full cost of a custom replacement, but a few fellas here might assemble you one for less than OEM. (Maybe):gossip:
