I couldn't believe how much that hood weighed when I bought the truck. It was so heavy, I thought something was caught keeping me from opening it.

Do you know the difference in weight?

That would only shove more air into the engine bay from a small opening. The louvers provide a much larger extraction area (18x14 inches) and air over the hood pulls the air out which allows more flow through the radiators.

There's also no one in my area with a sport hood. I've looked.

Thanks. The QR is for my daughter's Specialized S Works hardtail rear hub. The 15 mm are much better, and more secure, all the other bikes run them and the hub has interchangeable caps for the QR or 15 mm
Yeah, TMCmakes has some good stuff

The wicked web, buy a truck and buy mods, buying more mods means buying more mods.

Then get to a completion point after 6+ years… then add another truck and start all over.

I guess first is get a wife or partner that gives you freedom to do so. Well, she doesn’t really ‘give’ me freedom. I don’t think she really cares for most of the stuff I do.

Perhaps we might say: buy truck; make mods; determine additional mods are: not challenging, not interesting, not possible, not worth the time, effort or cost; loop back to the beginning
    This comes to mind: https://youtu.be/MxGEVIvSFeY

I think the first Dealer Oil change comes at 10K.

At the time I thought so too. Ended up doing my own at 5k.

What about this? Maybe too blingy, definitely not cheap, but it has louvers!

Yes, Toyota states the 1st oil change at 10k. However, that is a widely unpopular interval among owners. The preferred interval in 5k to 7.5k

I’ve changed it at 1,000 miles after break in.

I paid for the 5K oil service, next one is on them.
