    Hello, All--

I'm sure it's been covered before, but I'm not finding it. Have recently had water leaks from moon roof in my '96 Extra Cab 4x4. Have read about blocked drain lines and am investigating. I have found them in the rear corners (haven't yet taken the roof off to look in front corners), but am wondering where they drain. I'm not seeing any little tubes on the bottom, but I did notice that water appeared to be draining from the pinch welds under the driver side door when I had cleared that rear drain tube and poured water into the drain hole. Is that what I want to see? That doesn't seem like a great design if that's what is supposed to happen; if things got clogged inside there, water would gather and sit and...rust things, wouldn't it?

    TIA.

EDIT: I took off the moon roof and cleaned the drain holes in all four corners, and drain channel. Poured warm soapy water, then clear water, all around and into each drain hole. Everything drained easily, and came out below. Upon closer inspection I found several small slots in the metal beneath the doors. I guess that is the design. Rain coming tomorrow, so I won't have to wait long to see if I've fixed it.

FURTHER EDIT: Heavy thunderstorm just passed through. No leaks. Yeah, boy. I think it's good.
