    Replaced ac clutch assembly on compressor and new belt ac works great no more racket from bad pulley bearing but when I cut ac off start hearing a chirp squill sound any ideas thx

    Is the clutch spaced in spec with shims? It could be that the clutch is skipping a little on the pulley because it is too close.

    I put the shims back from old to the new parts just like it came off

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    Watch the compressor clutch see if you can see what happens when it chirps

    Could it be belt "chirp",,, which would need a little more belt tension or possibly a new belt because it slips for a micro second, chirp?

    You would use a feeler gauge to check clearance

    The reason the old shims might not work are because it is possible the the old clutch was slightly worn thus thinner than the new one placing the new one technically closer to the pulley than the old.
