Yup I work for the county. I trim around all the road signs, bridges, telephone boxes, guard rails, curve markers, ROW (Right Of Way) markers, culverts, stop signs, street name signs, and whatever the mowers dont/cant get. I try to do a 4-5' by 10-12' rectangle around each street sign.

 

Yeah that's the plan. The county could always use more Snow Birds, grave yard shift snow plowers, in the winter.

 

Here, the State is the better job. It’s hard to get in because you have to start out on call in the winter but if you stick with it for a few years, you get a nice job with great benefits and take turns leaning on a shovel all year.

 

Same thing at the county. I would rather stick to being with the county as they have more easy and less congested roads to plow. Besides I've already proved myself to the boss here so if I get a CDL they'll probably treat me pretty good.
