I used black zip ties. They're visible on the pic, In person you wouldn't know they were there.

That's odd. When did Toyota start that practice? I bought mine at the end of March last year. Dealer changed my oil @ 5K, no charge.

    Hmm, quote link didn't work -- it's https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...3rd-gen-today.399305/page-12156#post-27748710

Pardon my ignorance, but if these cat thieves are already under the vehicle with a battery-powered grinder (possibly with a cut-off wheel,) what's to keep them from grinding off the heads of the atttachment bolts to drop the cat shield? Or is it just a situation of "that takes too much time and noise, so they'll move on to easier pickings"?

they’re the ss3 pods with the yellow lens, I haven’t seen the new sae fogs in person yet.

It’s the Amber combo lens, works really well on dirt roads around here.

Oh, on the ends there is a plastic bracket that runs vertically about the height of the grill, I just tucked it between that and the grill.
Did you get your truck yet? I recognize your avatar from the waiting thread.

The weight of the OEM bumper and the crash bar was 24.5 lbs without the air deflector. My BAMF bumper with the high hoop and bash plate was 145 lbs plus the Warn EVO 12-S was another 75 lbs.

the yellow are a little less blinding IMO. I had white SS3’s before these and had drivers bright light me all the time. Haven’t had anyone do that with these yet. They’re still plenty bright during rain/foggy conditions though.

I would imagine an entire mirror would cost some serious cash so it might be. I have already knocked my passenger mirror to pieces backing out of the garage. Luckily it all snapped back together and still works just fine.

Who said the Tacoma doesn't have enough secure storage ..... Installed my new Pelican secure storage box. Due to the two swing cases, the default rail is a little low for the brackets supplied. However, a quick snip with the dremel and everything fits like a glove. Both the Pelican and Swing Cases are removeable, just in case my Truck wants to do pickup things.
