I've been educating myself on Rooftop tents and bed stiffeners and all that. How much weight is too much for the bed sides? How much can i have permanently mounted on there without an issue?

Let's say i have bed stiffeners, and a rack system that weights 75lbs and a RTT that weighs 150lbs, so about 225 total on the bed sides all day every day....should i be worried in the long run?

    Thanks!

Long run I've seen leaf springs break sooner, like 80,000miles, so upgrading the leaf with an add-a-leaf or air bags will make them last longer.

Or replace the pack with a beefier pack.

It's not a major concern, but the truck will drive better with some form of rear spring enhancement. Lots of reading on here about that.
