Pretty easy swap as long as you're not afraid of bending some sheet metal when swapping the UCAs

Yea I think it's just the big bolt if memory serves me that you have to bend the fender a bit. I have two herniated disc's so the work usually doesn't scare me just if I can move the next few days. I do have a couple buddies I can bribe with beer that would probably give me a hand though. We'll see lol. I also have a 3 week old baby girl so free time has been tight here lately.

Plenty of people near you that can help. I live about an hour from St. Louis. If you have Facebook check out the STL Tacoma Owners group page. A few good people on there

Best shop around. Anytime you're there, drop my name on your appointment or schedule or whatever. Or hit me up in here to give me a heads up. Lol

    Old news.

Plenty of good folks in here, some even have garages, who will gladly lend a hand.

    What all are you ordering?

Starting out with Nitro Gear Extended Travel Ball joint style Upper Control Arms and Eibach PRO-TRUCK 2.0 Coilovers.

Haven't decided on wheels yet but wheels and tires will be after that. Maybe an AAL too with it.

What do we think about this combo with the suspension I chose so far?

Nitto tires LOOK good but they're not the greatest tire. @CygnusX191 can verify that

Cooper, Falken, Toyo, Yokohama are good choices. I ran a set of Cooper ST Maxx's for about 3 years with no issues. Currently running Toyo AT3s and I have no complaints about them so far. Next set are gonna be the Yokohama Geolander MTs

Not to turn this thread into what it's not meant to be... but if I'm commuting to work 95% of the time, on gravel farm roads the other 5%. What would you recommend?

Promise not to drag this out on the area thread lol

I would recommend maybe Falken Wildpeaks or Cooper AT3s personally. I had the AT3s when my truck was still stock and they were great on and offroad. @CygnusX191 ran the Falken Wildpeaks and put them through hell with no issues

Nitto tires are about as good as factory Goodyear's.

Meaning they're absolutely worthless. Can't grip worth anything in the rain or snow, and they don't balance well at all.

Falken Wildpeak AT3's Are THE best AT tire on the market. They're smooth on the road, grip in the rain, killer in the snow, and absolutely badass off road. Like @Sasquatch3153 said, I ran the jebebus out of mine and they were still performing super well 50,000 miles later.

Yokohomas are a solid choice as well, they balance super easy, are lightweight, and aggressive enough to be real mean, esp when aired down.

    Toyos are a solid choice.

Really just boils down the price point. If you want a so-called budget AT tire, Firestone destination AT and AT2 are actually pretty good as well. I had them on both my two-wheel drive Pathfinder and my LJ Wrangler and they were pretty darn solid especially in the snow.

    Kenda. Kenda tires are amazing.
I have like 45k on mine and there is still 1/4 in left tread wise.

Also can vouch for Kenda’s @TacomaDad18

Kenda's are also trash in the rain. Had some on my 17 Pro 4x Frontier. That shit was Tokyo drift every time the sky turned gray.

I've commuted for 3 years on My Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws with zero issue in sun, rain or snow. I have a 30 minute mostly highway commute.
