Someone just broke into my 97 taco and tried to steal it from the same spot our friend’s car was stolen a year ago. They wrecked the ignition looks like with a screwdriver and key doesn’t work. I’ve seen a few threads that say you can install a push button start but always say leave the key in the on position. What would it take to just bypass the ignition?

also, they runnoft with my Cat and saw that no one is allowed to sell the o2 sensor simulators (like URD or LCE) and the ones I see in forums are rather hit or miss, likely due to the rate of cycling of voltages? Anyone have any suggestions on a method that works for 1997 Taco 3.4 4x4 m/t?
