Morning, Mike! Still no grass growing here - all burned out with the lack of rain. I'm going to spend the day at the pool letting the sun burn this COVID crap out.

I need to get going on the coolant system rebuild on the Z3 - just need to muster the courage to pull it apart.

    Tip:

When you pull it apart, take a piece of cardboard (big) and trace your parts on it. As you pull bolts stab them through the cardboard in the proper position. So if you pull a bracket, trace it and stab the bolts into the right spot.

I'm about 98% with my covid recovery, and this is after 3 weeks of testing negative. I still fatigue easy and I do have shortness of breath now, that's a symptom that I didnt notice when I was down and out with it. But I am much better, just not 100% yet

Fortunately @geo8866 we haven't had any bear here in Warwick only fox :D. Got that picture off the interweb:thumbsup:. There have been bear sightings in upper Bucks and Montgomery counties but not down this neck of the woods:cheers:

Got about 5" of rain last night; nice to have the pool filled up! :)

I had fun yesterday and went with my son to look at some Japanese Imports in Lulling, TX. There is a Crown Wagon Hurst. RHD, the driveline is the same as the Supra (inline 6, RWD). Alas, Japanese coffins are smaller, so my 8' long velomobile would only fit if I removed the passenger seat so not viable.

    https://www.texasjdm.com/inventory/1994-toyota-crown-hearse-wagon-factory-rhd/

The wagon version of the Nissan Skyline is so tempting:
    https://www.texasjdm.com/inventory/...-four-wagon-awd-turbo-rb25-det-factory-rhd-2/

Did stop by a friend who is finally getting closer to putting his '66 Datsun 1600 back on the road. Sourcing parts has become a major issue, the stock drivetrain on his.

Little BBQ in Lockhart (Smitty's), then back home.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gal! Still :fingerscrossed:. However, I do have to do surgery on the waste port pipe. The union gave up; but that doesn't affect the filter. I think I may have finally won this battle though.

    Good morning folks!
Glad to hear those of you with covid are getting over it now!
Ordered new float switches for my sewer grinder pump tank, one failed an another intermittent. Seems like my To Do list keeps increasing now that I’ve retired, fix one thing then something else gets added to the list my goodness haha.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/C***D recoverers. My wife was exposed Thursday so we've been taking precautions. Tested negative today, whew. But then the 90-something year old woman she was exposed to is hardly even sick at all, so she was probably exposed to a super low viral load. We'll test again in 2 days to put a period at the end of the sentence.

I'm doing a small flagstone project that requires stones to be cut. I'm off to find a diamond blade for the circular saw.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gal! Of all things, didn't have any of the cheap PVC parts to repair the pipe. Pick those up today, and then hope for the promised rain!

Good morning all. First day of retirement for me. Can’t believe my stress level has gone down 80%. Such a weird feeling. Even looking at my phone is different. I used to get about 120 emails a day with about 80 are needing some kind of attention. Now my emails are coupons and brainless sales pitches. I start retirement tending my 2 grandkids for a week. Everyone says I’ll wish I was back at work. I love my grandkids, work not so much!

Have a great day everyone and I hope those with health issues can improve a little today.

Congrats!!! You are going to love retirement. You’ll get to the point where you don’t know what day it is, nor will you care. You’ll be busy and wonder how you ever got all this stuff done and work too. Yes at first it’s a weird feeling being retired and not going to work everyday but that will be history soon. Have fun.
