Doing some research and came across this older post which I hope to shed some rejuvenation to instead of starting a new thread.

My 2014 DCSB is a scorching desert when compared my my wife’s 2008 Subaru Outback as far as the A/C goes.

I’ve replaced cabin air filter, run it on high, use recirculation, have a sun block on windshield when not in use, accepted I want things colder, etc.

Is there anything that can be done to upgrade/change the A/C to make the actual A/C colder?

Resurrecting an old thread because it's the only one I can find on the topic. I bought my new-to-me 2014 DCSB in June and it's been great, but I feel like the blower motor is missing an "extra high" speed setting. The air gets cold just fine, but the speed settings feel like it is missing one. My '01 4Runner and '97 Avalon had waaay more airflow happening on high, to the point where it wasn't even comfortable to have it on the highest setting. Anyone have luck swapping in a more powerful motor or something?
