Haha. The LP6 fits better inside the fairing. It’s a similar diameter to stock so you don’t have to trim out too much to get it to fit. Besides, I know the LP6 would be way more light than I’ll ever need on the bike. I already have the s2 with the headlight and that feels like enough for me, although I have yet to ride anywhere at night that doesn’t have even minimal street lighting. I think if ever ride out to the desert at night I’d probably want more light. Even then, I have a second S2 I can add. I saw someone used two s1 as turn signals on their Harley with the single wire splitter/resistor for running lights. Seemed a bit excessive but kinda cool.

I am searching for a decent light mount for a 1" bar. Have any recommendations?

Find a parking lot and really lean her over in second gear in either direction and then go hit some backroads. Its incredible what the stock suspension on a SS can do.

well the process of putting my klx400 back together before the 15th started yesterday and so far ive hit two snags... the bolt on the clutch cover thing with the springs i snapped one bolt.... i did get it out and ill have to get a new one so hurray... but the other issue is i have no clutch engagement my lever is floppy and wont work at all so idk what the deal is so ill most likely have to take the basket back off to see whats up... other then that its all going well

nope its a new cable and i can have the cable move the lever thing down below and i can see it activate down the tube where the rod thing goes but it wont do anything with the basket..

So I'm a complete newb to motorcycles and I'm trying to figure out if I'm missing any parts for this install. I ordered a complete front/rear wheel set and I don't really know if I have everything needed to swap out the OEM stuff. I ordered tires, tubes, hubs, sprocket, brake disc, caliper relocation bracket, and a new chain. Did I miss anything?

Since the hubs are made for my bike I'm assuming the axle/nuts will still work with the new wheels. Hopefully that's a safe assumptions.

    Thanks for the help guys!

ABS Ring? What kind of bike?

    :worthless:

Edit: just saw your post from yesterday. The WR? I'm assuming no abs on that, so ignore my entire post :anonymous:

interesting....definitely didn't think about the ABS ring. Would it be smart to just have a one on each wheel set, or is it easy to swap out?

two possible options with my bike

1.What has happened to you is that the clutch camshaft has rotated, and the operating rod isn't sitting in the notch in the bottom of the camshaft - just not working. You need to remove that operating rod, align the camshaft to where it normally goes (by the lever bolted on top), then push the operating rod through the clutchpack and the motor. It'll engage into the camshaft, and you'll feel and see it engage. Never at any point of this procedure do you need to pull in the clutch lever on the bars - just leave it alone the whole time.

or these two rings that go in first i put in backwards which is possible
    2. 2 rings go in before the plates and fibers. There should be two different types. One is flat and the other is concave. Put the flat one in first and the concave one next with the high side in towards the flat one.

ill have to go home tonight and check...

That’s a fine thread 1/2”. Semi-common bolt. Seems kinda overkill for lights though. That what size BAMF supplies to replace your shackle hardware in their hanger kits.
