I applied to a new job have a phone interview tomorrow. Fixing golf carts. It's a field technician job. Starting pay is the same as what I'm currently being paid. But the kicker is they offer health insurance. And the company I currently work at don't offer any. I'm not getting any younger and health insurance is important.

What no health insurance, yea your right to look elsewhere. What if a rabid coon sink his teeth into ur arm? On another note I ran over a skunk this morning, so now the leaf stinks , any advice? He or she ran out in front of me doing about 45 , couldn't help it. And strangely it was in the city.

Tbh not sure. Spray the car down with soap and water. Run it through a car wash.

I'll let yinz know how bad it is after sitting in the 91 sun all day. That leaf has some kind of fiber board under the whole car. Maybe aero dynamics? But I'm guessing that could soak up the piss?

I have not had the misfortune of needing to try it myself, but it sounded pretty good.

About 1 1/2 hours ago we got a tremendous storm. I had to drive out into it to pick up my grandson for the bus stop. On the way back I took these pictures of my neighbor's property, where a small creek meets a larger creek. How highs the water mama? LOL.

Well I guess the skunk didn't get a direct shot at me just a pungent small odor. On way home drove past the so called crime scene and couldn't locate him , maybe I just hit his tail and he gave me a quick squirt. But drove home through a storm so that helped wash the underbelly. I dodged a bullet for sure.

Nearly 3 inches in my rain gauge from a 45 minute storm. I have to drive about 2 1/2 miles up the road to get my grandson at his friend's house because our district is so short of drivers that his bus is going to the end of the township, then looping back with him, an extra 45-50 minute ride. As I was driving to his stop I could barely see. I may have driven in a worse storm at some point in my life, but I can't remember when. I couldn't go over 35mph, for fear of hydroplaning. Nasty.

Had my dog run into a skunk out front when I let him out about 500 am. Didn’t see it so he calmly walked by me back into the house. I smelled it but too late. He ran upstairs and jump in bed with my wife. Well…..let’s just say what I heard when he hit the bed, I can’t say here.
She insisted on trying tomato juice…no that don’t work, trust me
Long story short I hope, told my son of this. He said oh yeah, try this.. myth busters, if you remember the show did a thing on skunk remediation
Hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dish soap
Well I set up just that in a bucket in the basement just in case. Products still in their case or package
Yes, he got hit again. This time, stopped him, took him out back, bucket with products and the hose
Washed him down and it worked
Google myth busters skunk smell removal and you’ll get the percentage of each
    May have saved my marriage
Dumb dog. lost him in 2020 but miss his stupid ass to this day
    Hope it helps

Kept catching myself doing 90 on the way home in the new rav4. Oops, something about a lack of road noise compared to my Taco.

    Still got 32mpg!

Yep that's the ingredients in the PDF I linked. Good to know that it works.

Ironman Foam Cell Pro suspension, Anso black headlight housings, l.e.d. headlights, black taillights, Demello steel front bumper with highlight 7" l.e.d. round lights, Diode Dynamics Amber SS3 Pro lights, Hooke Road steel rear bumper with Nighlight reverse lights, Hooke Road roof rack, Ultima Aluminum toolbox, Weathertech floor mats, EGR in channel ventshades, Snorkel, K&N air filter and cabin air filter, 265/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx, Firestone ride rite airbags, Bentrodders bed reinforcements, too many other things to remember.
Well, looks like it's my turn to shop around for a new rear bumper, lights and hitch. I was making a left turn, was they the turn onto the side road when I felt a tug from the back of my truck. Looked back and saw a guy on a 98 Harley Davidson. Pulled over, walked around and asked what the hell happened. Looked at my bumper because I wasn't sure how or where he hit my truck. Turns out he was trying to make a right hand turn (from the opposite direction) behind me but wasn't patient enough. His front wheel went under my rear auxiliary reverse lights and he hit the brakes so it yanked and ripped my bumper back. Going to need the frame tweeked back over into place. You can see how far under my bumper the lights sit so we're still trying to figure out how the fuck he managed to do this.

His bike only has a scuff on the left side of the wheel and needs the fender bracket tweeked back into position.

I really like having the chrome bumper to make the truck more visible and definitely need to retain the tow hitch for my daily towing and hauling. What bumpers are out there that y'all have or looked into for your 2nd gen's. Haven't gotten a check from the insurance company yet because it just happened a couple hours ago but I need to find a bumper,, hitch and lights to replace these.
