Stripped rear differential drain?

    Over the weekend changed the differential gear oil in both from and rear. Besides the mess and doing it without a pump everything went well until I put the drain bolt back in rear differential. Had torque wrench set 36# and felt the bolt tighten but never got the "clicks" from the torque wrench. Now the bolt just spins won't back out or tighten. No leaks and have driven 30+ miles.

    Any advice/thoughts?

    Sounds like you should take it in and have it assessed, unless you have some decent mechanic skills.

    Thanks for the replies and as any good TW member my first steps will always be to seek the wealth of knowledge here!
