    A little Hatch update:

She's comfortable and quiet. Handles great and has pretty good acceleration. The interior material quality is nice. All the controls are nicely placed and intuitive....once you become familiar with them. This car is of the newer breed with the steering wheel mounted cruise control as opposed to the tried and true mini-stalk behind the wheel Toyota used for many years. I do like the little joystick for the mirrors and the auto up and down for all 4 windows. The tech is heavy with the head unit and I'm leaning. Android Auto is awesome.

I rarely played CDs. But once in awhile it was nice to throw one in. Of course the Hatch doesn't have a CD player....no newer cars do. But that's ok....a million options these days on listening to music all of which the head uint can do.

There isn't nearly the storage space. And to be frank, it's not so much that the Hatch is lacking....as much as the Tacoma just had storage for days....nooks, crannies, behind the rear seat, under the rear seat, etc. But I've managed to find a spot for most everything.

I'm right at a 35 mpg average and climbing a bit each day.

    Very pleased so far.

Oh....couple of other things. The radar cruise is great. That's not new to me....as both of our other Corollas have it. But another nice touch is all the buttons....windows, locks, mirrors and every button on the steering wheels is lit up blue. So no fumbling around for anything in the dark. Even the rear window switches are back lit for the rear passengers.

Yep, I'm fine other than a little back pain on one side, goes with the territory. How're you?

There's one feature I always bypass when in a newer vehicle. I never use the radar cruise, I prefer the old style set and forget. I don't want to go the speed of everyone else, I like the speed I chose.

I actually like the adaptive cruise control, and I love the anti-collision radar. It sees shtuff and reacts, especially in fog and poor lighting, a helluvalot quicker than this old MQQSEMan. IMGOBO that's a positive and proper application of technology. Toyota gets my  on that.

Dangerous with two vehicles. I’ll use the adaptive cruise in the Tunny and get into the shit-assed work Chevy and forget it doesnt adjust. I stopped using the cruise in the work truck. Fuckin GPS trackers anyways so gotta constantly adjust accordingly to stay off the ‘list’. Commies.
