Figured I'd throw this out in case anyone here has come across this before..
Last week a car cut me off in traffic and I laid on the horn pretty hard. Now it seems I have no working horn at the steering wheel.

Checked the fuses under the hood, and relays and all are fine.
If I hit the "panic" button on the keyfob the horn sounds, so I suspect the issue lives in my steering wheel
So, now I get to figure out how to remove the horn button.. Anyone else see this before and maybe have some pointers?

OK, 2 months later and I'll follow up on this (because I HATE when I search an issue and find someone else with it but no solution).
It took two months (and my state inspection coming up) for me to find the time to tear into the steering wheel assembly. Many thanks to @caribe makaira for the above information, it was quite helpful.

Took the airbag/horn button assembly off and tested them with my multimeter, and all were good. So I checked the plug on the backside of the clockspring assembly, still good.. WTF?
I followed it to the next connector and tested there with the multimeter and still had the proper signal when the horn button was pressed.. So now I'm confused.
As a reminder, I have checked multiple times, and when I press the panic button on the remote the horn works, so it can't be the relay or fuses, right?
    Right?!?!?
Crap, may as well test the fuse with the multimeter while I have everything out... The fuse was dead.
Yes, the fuse I had visually checked before, and the fuse I thought MUST be good if the horn sounds when the panic button is pressed...
Replaced the fuse, put everything back together and hooked the battery back up and it works fine.

TLDR, I'm an idiot, it was the fuse all along and I should have tested or swapped it before getting this far
