Will a snorkel fit and which one?

On Facebook I saw a guy with a snorkel on his 2nd gen regular cab but everything I searched seems to only fit a 3rd gen v6. Reason I want one is i want the clean air as I noticed my filter gets dirty on dirt roads (duh) plus I think it looks cool lol

 

Did you have to mod it at all to fit (besides cutting the hole)? Do you have any pics

 

I have a Dobinson's on my 2012 regular cab. It fit's but not very well (the snorkel contour doesn't match the fender).
The ARB Safari snorkel fits better but it's also a lot more money.

I finally purchased a 2015 Tacoma, my dream truck, and I couldn't be happier. Working on all sorts of mods for it but I'm a bit apprehensive about the snorkel. It's a one way street if you know what I mean and the truck is in pristine condition. I purchased a "Snorkel kit For Toyota Tacoma 2005-2015 (4 l) Petrol, STTCMA-A" off eBay with no install instructions, and a few of the post here are not complimentary of the provided templates. Not worried about under the hood. Any suggestions to ease my anxiety? First truck in 20+ years I bought for over $200, and wife will crucify me if I get this wrong. Thanx in advance
