Getting these two done concurrently. They put me in nice Taco loaner, a Blue DC OR. First blush...I like my 2018 Sport better.

Master cylinder recall? Is this something new?

I took her to task about if my 2018's VIN was indeed indicated on these recalls, just to be sure that I would not have an expensive surprise when they were finished. She said that the four recalls all pop up when she pulls up my VIN in her computer. In fact, she said that Toyota no longer reimburses the dealership for a "rental" car for the fuel pump replacement, that the reason I was receiving a loaner was because Toyota does pay the cost of a loaner as part of the master cylinder recall. We shall see. Afterall, this is a dealership. Great timing of the stumbling fuel rail pressure: I was considering leaving to go backpacking in Tennessee on the spur of the moment. Rather it happen now than on the road.
