    Hello friends,

I will admit up front to not doing a single stitch of research before coming here and running my mouth and taking up your time.

A friend just came into a desert kept (but wheeled) 4Runner, and knows it has some kind of welds done on it because of the hard wheeling "and my brother kept breaking it".

I'm obviously going to keep an eye out for e.g. gusseted spindles, cam tabs, or similar type work - I'm a Taco guy and I know these are cousin platforms. Is there any common wheeling damage that a person might miss if they didn't know what to look for? I'm going to be taking a good look at the entire frame regardless (inspections are strict here), but a little heads up would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

You basically called it, spindles, cam tabs, and sliders.

Air lockers are another major mod, and sway bar deletes catch customers off guard some times.
